We explored some of students' favorite images associated with fall in their sketchbooks. Then students glued brown trunks on a background of their choosing. Next, they used their hands to tear red, orange and yellow paper before gluing it on top of their tree trunks. Finally, students used crayons to draw additional details such as stars, clouds, and even monkeys!
