5th Grade Abstract "Value" Portraits
The final project in our Picasso series is a chalk pastel drawing by the students in 5th grade. Each student drew a portrait and divided it into different sections with crisscrossing lines. Students were challenged to create a value scale - a color fading from dark to light - in each section. This project was not easy, and these students' hard work really paid off! Do you agree?
